Hangeul

Today is #Hangeul Creation Day in South Korea.

Hangeul is the Korean alphabet created in 1443 by King Sejong the Great to promote literacy among common people.

It consists of 14 consonants and 10 vowels that can be combined to form syllabic blocks, making it a unique and scientific writing system.
